Weekend Recap - June 19-21

Friday night Bible School

Saturday finished dad gift, breakfast, went to the pool with Mom and Sammy. Got Riley and Hayden, off to the track we go. That was a waste of time and gas. Came home, fixed super, and went to bed church in the morning.

Sunday went to church, reunion, mother-in-laws, home, movie at Jess’s, and home to bed.

Church Life

Travis and I
joined
Indiana Avenue Baptist Church
earlier this year.
We really enjoy it; everyone there makes you feel welcome.
They are a so nice and have been understanding.
They have a lot of different programs for the kids, teens, and adults to join.

V.B.S. 2009

As you all know I’m going to a new church and this week was bible school. It started on Sunday night – Thursday night. I slept through Sunday night and work wouldn’t let me off early enough to go to it. That made me mad, but I can’t help it.

Well the church that Mom attends was having bible school the same week. It was Monday – Friday and it started at 7 instead of 6. So I got to attend every night. Their theme was “Studio Go, Game Show”. They had a great turn out:

Monday - 155 people
Tuesday – 175 people
Wednesday – 155 people
Thursday – 158 people
Friday – 165 people

The next Saturday they are havin a cookout from 5pm-7pm, and pool party from 7pm- 9pm at Cove Lake.

Our Week with Riley

We got Riley on Wednesday keep him until Friday.
He went to his mom’s on Friday night to go with her up to the Rock Crawls in White Oak on Saturday.
Came back Saturday night we played around the house.
Sunday we went to church, at lunch and played in the pool with Nathan, George, JanJan, and Jancie.
On Monday night we went to the movies to see “Up”.

Played at Mimi and Papaw Howard’s house on Tuesday night came home with chocolate all over his face.
We checked out JanJan and Joe’s new houses on Wednesday night.
Thursday night we all hung out at home getting all the stuff ready for Friday and Saturday.
Friday we went to Norris pool with Jancie, McKaylee, and Hayden.
Saturday Dollywood.

Dollywood Trip

Mom, Jancie, McKaylee, Riley, Jessica, Adam, daria, and I spent a day at DollyWood.

We rode rides and got wet on the River Rampdage.

We all packed a lunch and a blanket and ate our lunch on the creek bank.

It was so nice.
After lunch we took the kids down to the Fair Grounds to let the kids ride some of their rides.

All in all a Great Day!!

Gossipin

Some people have nothing better to do than to run their month about other people. I don’t like that. I hate for people to sat and talk about someone when the are only repeating what they think about the situation.


People need to learn to mind their own business, and stay out of mine.

2nd Anninversary

Travis and I had our 2nd anniversary on June 8th.

We both had to work on that day, so we went out on the Friday before.

We went to O’Charlies to eat and then went across Norris Dam.

We parked up on the upper over looked and enjoyed the view.

Family Addition

Today my brother, Casey and Sammy found out what they were having.

It's a Boy!!!

Yay!

We will have a little Casey running around...
