True Friends

Well there are all different types of friends, but True Friends are hard to come by. A true friend is someone who is always there when you need a person to talk too. Someone who knows when something is wrong before you tell them, they might not know the exact problem is, but they know something is. They are there any time day or night. A true friend is someone that you don’t have to talk to everyday, but when you do talk it is like you just talked yesterday. I can honestly say I have many friends, but 5 true friends.

But I also have someone in my life that is there when NO ONE else is and that’s;

July 4th Weekend

Friday got Hayden went to Norris pool with Jancie, Riley, and Hayden.

Then we all went to Daniel Boone, played in the bounce house and watched a firework show.

Saturday had a great relaxing day at home with Riley and Travis, later we took Riley to meet his Mamaw and Papaw. Travis and I got ready went to eat and watch the fireworks at the mall with mom, Jancie, Ruby, Jack, Jess, Chris, Nathan, George, and Jackie. After the firework, we went up to Chris and Jess.

Sunday we went to church, and then I went down to the park for the Lawson Reunion.

Weekend Recap - June 26-28

Friday night we went to eat out at the dock with Travis’s parents.

Saturday sitting in the living room I heard a noise. Jake, the dog, put a hole in the pool. I had to go to Wal-Mart to get a repair kit, fixed the pool. Travis went to the track with his dad. Riley, Jancie, and I went to see mom at work, we decided that we were going to Verizon to get new phones. We had lunch together, got Hayden, and went to the track.

Sunday went to church, came home let the kids; Nathan, George, Riley, and Hayden play in the pool until the thunder storm hit. Sent Nathan and George to church with mom, took Riley back to his mom, and Hayden to his parents. Jancie and I went home and cleaned and done laundry.

Father's Day 09'

For my Dad on Father’s day, I’m going to get together different pictures of my brother and me through the years.

For Travis from Riley we are going to do his foot prints with a poem.

I'll post it later.

We went to Church, service was really good. I went home to changed clothes, then down to the park for the Tackett reunion. Of course everyone had already eaten so I got to eat by myself. Before I got my food ate my dad comes over and tells me that he is leaving to take his sister back to Knoxville. So mom leaves to go see her dad, Casey goes home, and I go see Travis and Riley. I go home and Jancie comes through and says that she is going up to Jess’s to watch a movie and invites us up. We go up and watch the movie.

Weekend Recap - June 19-21

Friday night Bible School

Saturday finished dad gift, breakfast, went to the pool with Mom and Sammy. Got Riley and Hayden, off to the track we go. That was a waste of time and gas. Came home, fixed super, and went to bed church in the morning.

Sunday went to church, reunion, mother-in-laws, home, movie at Jess’s, and home to bed.

Church Life

Travis and I
joined
Indiana Avenue Baptist Church
earlier this year.
We really enjoy it; everyone there makes you feel welcome.
They are a so nice and have been understanding.
They have a lot of different programs for the kids, teens, and adults to join.

V.B.S. 2009

As you all know I’m going to a new church and this week was bible school. It started on Sunday night – Thursday night. I slept through Sunday night and work wouldn’t let me off early enough to go to it. That made me mad, but I can’t help it.

Well the church that Mom attends was having bible school the same week. It was Monday – Friday and it started at 7 instead of 6. So I got to attend every night. Their theme was “Studio Go, Game Show”. They had a great turn out:

Monday - 155 people
Tuesday – 175 people
Wednesday – 155 people
Thursday – 158 people
Friday – 165 people

The next Saturday they are havin a cookout from 5pm-7pm, and pool party from 7pm- 9pm at Cove Lake.

Our Week with Riley

We got Riley on Wednesday keep him until Friday.
He went to his mom’s on Friday night to go with her up to the Rock Crawls in White Oak on Saturday.
Came back Saturday night we played around the house.
Sunday we went to church, at lunch and played in the pool with Nathan, George, JanJan, and Jancie.
On Monday night we went to the movies to see “Up”.

Played at Mimi and Papaw Howard’s house on Tuesday night came home with chocolate all over his face.
We checked out JanJan and Joe’s new houses on Wednesday night.
Thursday night we all hung out at home getting all the stuff ready for Friday and Saturday.
Friday we went to Norris pool with Jancie, McKaylee, and Hayden.
Saturday Dollywood.

Dollywood Trip

Mom, Jancie, McKaylee, Riley, Jessica, Adam, daria, and I spent a day at DollyWood.

We rode rides and got wet on the River Rampdage.

We all packed a lunch and a blanket and ate our lunch on the creek bank.

It was so nice.
After lunch we took the kids down to the Fair Grounds to let the kids ride some of their rides.

All in all a Great Day!!

Gossipin

Some people have nothing better to do than to run their month about other people. I don’t like that. I hate for people to sat and talk about someone when the are only repeating what they think about the situation.


People need to learn to mind their own business, and stay out of mine.

2nd Anninversary

Travis and I had our 2nd anniversary on June 8th.

We both had to work on that day, so we went out on the Friday before.

We went to O’Charlies to eat and then went across Norris Dam.

We parked up on the upper over looked and enjoyed the view.
